Product Information

The 42U Ucoustic 19" soundproof cabinet is the only server enclosure proven to provide 28.5 dB(A) sound reduction and 11.5 KW heat dissipation. It is 100% portable and more than 5 times quieter than a standard server rack/cabinet. Perfect for edge computing or for your micro data center, the Ucoustic series of soundproof server cabinet is the best in their class. Locking split front and rear doors, locking side panels, multiple cable entry points on the top and bottom, this server cabinet protects and quiets your equipment to a whisper.

Commonly used in offices and training rooms, the Ucoustic can go just about anywhere. The casters on the Ucoustic support up to 2,200 lb. of static weight and wheel smoothly through doorways, down hallways, and into office rooms without problem.

Fans are 115V and not 220/240V fans. 220/240V power will damage the fans. 220/240V cabinets can be special ordered. Contact Rackmount Solutions for more details.

So nice to work near these quiet racks

This soundproof cabinet is the way to go. I have multiple uSystems soundproof racks in my lab. n, no one could hear me.

My equipment puts off nearly 80dB of noise with all my exhaust fans and nearly 8.5kW of heat. The 24u Edge 3 cabinet manages the noise and the heat expertly. Customers were happy to be able to hear the presentation(especially after we showed off what was in the rack with it fully powered up).

If you need something to quiet down your server/equipment space, use this rack. You will not be disappointed.

Great purchase experience

I want to thank Kevin for his help with our UCoustic soundproof server housing. We bought an 8 GPU system that you could literally hear outside of the building and now it’s quiet as a mouse. I’m a business owner not an IT expert, so Kevin’s pre-sales consultation was much appreciated. Fast shipment too. Thank you Rackmount Solutions.

Q: Is it possible to get a 42U rack with larger castors? Like a 4" castor?

A: Unfortunately, we don't stock the Ucoustic cabinet with taller casters. I will have have one of my sales reps reach out to see if it can be special ordered.

Q: Are there rail mounting kits for the Servers? Are they available for purchase or included within the rack?

This cabinet comes with two sets of vertical rails to mount equipment to, but it does not come with actual rail kits for the servers themselves, as those usually accompany the server, not the cabinet. We do have alternative mounting options available if needed, such as angle brackets and shelves.
