#4 X 1/2" Self Tapping Screw For Plastic Enclosures Engineered specifically for plastic enclosure applications, these #4 x 1/2" self-tapping screws deliver reliable fastening without requiring pre-drilled holes. The self-tapping design cuts its own thread path as it penetrates plastic materials, eliminating the need for separate tapping operations and reducing assembly time. The compact 1/2" length makes these screws ideal for securing lightweight panels, covers, and access doors on network equipment housings and server rack enclosures. Constructed to withstand repeated installation and removal cycles, they provide consistent holding power while minimizing stress on plastic components. Perfect for technicians and installers working with standard rackmount equipment and modular enclosure systems.
